Forms being sent home for a Choir Club. It will start on March 6, 2014 till May 22, 2014. It will run every Thursday at lunch, from 12:00-12:45. Students who usually go home for lunch are invited to stay at school on these days. If you would like your child to participate please fill the form and return to school by March 4th, 2014. If you have any questions please contact Miss. McCune.

Time is just ticking away.... and today is the last day of February and spring is around the corner. YEAH!

In gym we have started the gymnastic unit

      

               

Today we read the book

Max’s brothers have grand collections that everyone makes a big fuss over. Benjamin collected stamps and Karl collected coins, and neither one would share with their little brother. So Max decided to start a collection of his own. He’s decided to collect words. He started with small words that he cut out of newspapers and magazines, but soon his collection grew so big that he had to move it out into the hall. All the while, his brothers were watching. Benjamin braged that he had one thousand stamps. Karl said he was just a few coins short of five hundred. We read the book and discussed how a collection of words, can make a sentence . 

We made a collection of our own words and made sentences with them going over the rules.

                                               

It begins with an upper case and ends with a period. It is a coplete thought and has to make sense.
