iPod Club
iPod club begins tomorrow at lunch. We had an overwhelming response for those who wished to join, however we only have 20 iPods. To be fair, all students who brought back signed forms were entered into a draw - names were chosen and only 6 students from our class were selected to be in the club. Those students know who they are. Thank you to all students for their interest - we are positive there will be other opportunities/clubs for you to join throughout the year.
Today we had the amazing opportunity to watch a presentation from Kobie Boykins. We learned about the rovers he has been involved in making. Thank you to Nova for joining us on this trip!
Please ask your child what they learned about today on our trip to the Epcor Centre.
Curiosity is the latest rover that is currently roaming Mars
Here are some wheels that were used on some Rovers

Here are some fun links you can visit with your child to learn more about Mars and outer space!
Gravity
Our field trip to watch a presentation from Kobie Boykins sparked our CURIOUSITY about space. We watched a few videos from the Canadian Space Agency about how they eat, brush their teeth, and cut their hair in outer space. Here is a link to some of those videos. http://www.youtube.com/user/canadianspaceagency/videos
