Reminders
- Choir club tomorrow - those who are a part can bring their lunch!
- Parent teacher conferences are next week - Information will be coming home soon
Canada's Mission in Afghanistan
Today marked the end of Canada's military involvement in Afghanistan. To honor the fallen soldiers, the flag was lowered this morning. Students took part in a moment of silence, followed by a beautiful singing of O'Canada. The flag was then raised at noon to celebrate those soldiers that were a part and those who are coming home safe and sound.
Alien In-line Skating
Today was day three of skating - super fun! Today we played a game called Building Towers - please ask your child how it is played.
After we skated we discussed some of the things that were easy for us and some of the things that were hard. Please discuss these with your child. Ask them, what happens when we find something hard to do?
Our class is lucky to have these shape shadow experiences! Shapes moving through our classroom and everytime fonding a different place in our room. For the first time since Sept we saw a shape on our floor. We explored making our shadows in the triangle.
