We had the presentation  from the Kananaskas in the classroom.
Ragweed to Riches
Rough Fescue thinks it's hard to be a flower when everyone just walks by so she trades places with the showy Princess Yellow Lady Slipper Orchid.  Will she find her true place among the flowers?  Find out in this journey to a magical place where flowers can walk, talk and sing.

          We also learnt a song from the Kanaskis presentation today

                      And fungi gets the job done!

We also had a session in the Gr.1/2 classrooms and one of us actually dressed up as a flower and learned how a plant grow. Ask me about the different parts of the flower.
