Homework

Please note that we will not be sending paper and pencil worksheets for homework.

Your child's DAILY homework is to read a book. Reinforce the concepts that are posted on the blog.

If they choose to read one from the library, or their home collection, please take a few moments to follow along with them and ask a few questions about what they have just read.

Another option is to ensure your child has access to Raz-Kids on a daily basis. Raz-Kids is an effective way for students to be exposed to interesting books, fiction and nonfiction.  They are asked a variety of questions in each book's quiz and they can work on their fluency rates by reading aloud in the "recording" section.  One book per day is all that is required.
