Information going home regarding the changes that have been made to the reporting of student progress this year. Today you will be receiving a "Literacy Checklist" that shares your grade one child's progress from September 4 - November 8.

Reminder:
Field trip tomorrow (Wednesday, November 13, 2013) to, 'The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra'. We will be leaving the school at 9:15 am and travelling by bus to the Jack Singer Concert Hall. The performance titled, A Day Across Canada begins at 10: 15 a.m and we will return to Vista Heights School aby 11:45.
For the 13th year in a row the Canadian Children's Book Centre is delighted to give each Grade One student a beautiful children's book titled Boy Soup, written by Loris Lesynski and illustrated by Michael Martchenko. Thank you to TD Bank Group for the very generous sponsorship!
