Thank you to all the families who joined us for the assembly today!

Today we were reading a book  and came across a few interesting words . We wondered what they meant - archaeologists, mummy, artifact and reluctant. We also watched a Bill Nye video and learnt a few interesting facts.

Ask me, who is an archaeologist

                                                                                                                       Ask me about this....

The body of a dead Egyptian would be made into a mummy in
order to preserve the body. All organs were removed and the
body was treated with preservatives which dried out the body
of a mummy.

An artifact from the olden times
Ask me why is the pot broken....

Earthquake

Ask me what happened...

Today we had a interesting learning conversation in our room, started off from reading a book and our wondering led us to learning about archaeology and earthquakes. Ask me about what we learnt and pictures that we saw........

Thanks,
Mrs. Malik
