Quest Theatre!Artists from Quest Theatre will be working with our staff and students to create a story aboutspecific virtues this week. There will be an opportunity for our students to share their work with their parents/guardians on Friday, December 13th at 1:30 and 6:30. Please check the yellow notice which came home today as it outlines how to receive tickets for the performance. PLEASE COMPLETE AND RETURN BY WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11th.  PLEASE RETURN EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING. Thank you!

 Why is this virtue important?

Brrr...it's snowy out there! Parents and students, please remember that supervision begins at 8:35 in the morning. We only have indoor recess when the temperature feels like -20 or lower. In all other cases, students are expected to enjoy the beautiful winter weather outside. Please ensure your child has their hats, gloves, snow pants, snow shoes and scarves each day so they can enjoy our winter weather.Thank you to all parents and students who attended the Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences.  We appreciate all of your support! Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences

Parent Teacher Interviews and Student Led Conferences will take place tonight and tomorrow during the day. If you have not already booked a time to meet with me please visit the Vista Heights School webpage. We encourage you to bring your child as they will have a chance to show off their learning.

Please try to set aside enough time for you to visit with me and each of the centres. Students are excited to show off their learning. The language arts station is in our room, along with the science station. The grade 1 math station is located in Ms. Toor's room,. Ms. McCune will also be available this evening with some exciting an exciting music station.

If you are unable to attend these conferences, please contact me at almalik@cbe.ab.ca and we can arrange a time that is convenient for you some time in the coming weeks.

Parents are encouraged to book a specified 15 minute meeting time to talk directly with me. In addition, you and your child can circulate from centre to centre, celebrating your child's learning like student led conferences in the past.  Please feel free to do this before/after your specified time, whichever is most convenient for you.
